This report deals with the barriers people may have against public transport, and proposes several measures to reduce barriers and to make the system easier to use. Topics like lower prices and high frequency will not be discussed in this report. The barriers are divided into 5 categories: informative, physical, psychological, cultural and practical barriers. The overall purpose is that the public transport service should be as simple, comprehensible and accessible as possible for the customers. |
