| 摘要： | Underwater sound levels of 16 vessels were measured under controlled conditions in Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve during July and August of 2003. Vessels ranged from 17 to 257 feet in length and included two small craft, a sailboat under power, one workboat, one tugboat, one fishing vessel, one research vessel, one yacht, and eight tour vessels. Sound levels associated with these vessels ranged from 153 to 180 dB re 1 microPa at 1 yard. On the average, overall sound levels were higher for the larger vessel categories. Increased vessel speeds also resulted in higher sound levels. |
