| 摘要： | This quarterly report is the 49th in a series concerning safety and environmental protection matters related to ports and shipping. Highlights include: The 80th session of the Council (C 80) of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) convened at IMO Headquarters in London from June 15-19, 1998; The 26th session of the IMO Facilitation Committee (FAL 26) was held at IMO Headquarters in London from September 7-11, 1998; June 29, 1998, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published a final rule amending its rules under the Toxic Substances Control Act which addresses the manufacture, processing, distribution in commerce, use, cleanup, storage, and disposal of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs); The National Dredging Team (NDT) has published its guidance document titled Local Planning Groups and Development of Dredged Material Management Plans: Guidance by the National Dredging Team. |
