| 摘要： | This report assesses policy and planning strategies at the state, regional, and local government levels that, if implemented, could nudge private-sector choices regarding automated vehicles (AVs) and connected vehicles (CVs) toward outcomes that would benefit society. Why would these governments want to do this? State, regional, and local governments use available policy levers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of public roadways and to foster equity across users of the system; overseeing AV and CV technologies is a natural extension of this longstanding mission. |
