摘要:   The present paper describe a study concerned with the brake behavior in low-speed vehicle cut-in condition.In this driving simulator experiment,four different normal speed and one jam speed were employed,and the low-speed vehicle cut in at various timing to get valid braking timing data.The results showed that relative distance is NOT only the longitudinal distance in cut-in condition and lateral distance as well as detection angle should be considered which differs from car following condition.Considering the detected distance in real application,time history of TTC and brake timing distribution were analyzed.These statistical results can be used in parameter design of Pre-crash warning systems (PCS).
