Small waterplane area twinhull ship(SWATH) is a new type catamaran with better seakeeping performance.Its waterplane is smaller, but its wet hull surface area is greater than that of the normal ship, which leads to great effect (on) the vibration of the hull.Vibration response of SWATH hull is analyzed based on the 3D hydroelasticity method.Mode shapes of the dry hull is adopted as the principle coordinate, and the wave's influence is considered.Then the main overall vibration shapes of SWATH are achieved.Meanwhile, the overall vibration test of the SWATH is performed.The contrast of the test results and calculation results shows good agreement in the main overall vibration shapes and relevant natural frequency of the SWATH are accordant.It is indicated that the overall vibration test method and the numerical analysis method are reasonable.In the paper, the effects of the seabed and the condensability of the water are analyzed. |
