There is a variety of parking brake arrangements in different axles for multi-axis off-road vehicle.Different kinds of parking brakesarrangementsin different axles will have a significant impact on the vehicle's parking brake performance.Firstly,the re-quirements of the regulations on the braking performance are analyzed in this paper.Then,the evaluation indicators of the performance of the system is put forward with the limit slope degree,the parking limit slope utilization rate and the parking dynamic braking decelera-tion.The multi-axis off-road vehicle is a statically indeterminate system,so the theoretical calculation method of the braking perform-ance evaluation indicators which fit the statically indeterminate system is studied and the braking performance indicators of the parking brake are calculated and analyzed.Finally,according to the characteristics of off-road vehicles,the influence of the multi-axis drive off-road vehicle parking brake system arrangements and the inter-axle differential's locked state on the vehicle parking limit slope are ana-lyzed.The calculated results obtained by the analytical method are in good agreement with the experimental results,which verifies the accuracy of the method.The analysis and evaluation methods proposed in this paper are of great significance to improve the braking per-formance of multi-axle off-road vehicle parking. |
