项目说明：	December 2021 - Ministry of Transport of Egypt is negotiating a deal with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, European Investment Bank, World Bank, Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and Islamic Development Bank to fund the construction of first phase of project; August 2021 - Project will be financed by French Government; April 2021 - Egyptian ministry proposed possible routes for the link, starting from Aswan to Toshka and an Abu Simbel path with a 66 km bridge to Qastal to flow into Wadi Halfa; December 2020 - The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development could be on board to fund the railway linking Egypt and Sudan project; November 2020 - The governments of Egypt and Sudan have signed a joint cooperation agreement to carry out economic, social and environmental feasibility studies for the creation of a new cross-border railway between the two countries; The two countries agreed on investment projects, including the construction of a land route and a railway line between Egypt and Sudan in April 2013; Total length - 900 km; Total cost - EUR1bn (USD1.21bn)
