On larger, more complex construction projects, the scoping process can be expensive and time consuming. It is also difficult to predict future circumstances on larger projects so project delivery can be complicated by change orders, costs increases and project delays. The research will help identify ways to redesign the transportation project scoping process to produce more predictable results for the project funding and delivery phases. |
