项目说明：	September 2021 - Tender for the consultancy services contract of USD1bn-USD2bn Bahrain Metro project has attracted seven bidders; August 2021 - Mott MacDonald, SNC-Lavalin Major Projects and Esbi Engineering and Facility Management have submitted bids in response to the RFPs issued by Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications to offer consultancy services for utility diversions; June 2021 - Bahrain has shortlisted 11 bidders in a tender for phase I of Bahrain's Metro; February 2021 - MTT has launched a procurement process for the project; December 2020 - Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications of Bahrain has unveiled blueprint for a 109 km metro rail system under which project is included; March 2020 - Tender is expected to be launched within the next year; Line connects Bahrain International Airport with the suburban Seef District through the Bahrain Financial Harbour; Project is part of 28.6 km phase I of Bahrain's Metro Network, comprising 2 lines (Red and Blue) and expected to operational in 2027
