项目说明：	October 2021 - Experts from both Tanzania and Burundi have completed the evaluation process to enable the two countries to apply for a loan to fund the construction of the railway line; October 2020 - Team of experts conducted site visit where the project will take place; February 2020 - Design works completed for Uvinza-Msongati section allowing Government to undertake feasibility study and design of railway from Msongati to Congo; March 2014 - MoU signed between governments of Burundi and Tanzania; Project includes construction of 240 km railway line from Uvinza (Tanzania) to Msongati-Gitega (Burundi) railway line which will further extend up to Kindu (Democratic Republic of the Congo)
