| 项目说明： | September 2021 - City and federal governments are jointly investing EUR6bn (USD7bn) in the project that under construction since January of this year, wherein for U2 line Matzleinsdorfer Platz station is currently under construction; January 2021 - Wiener Linien has awarded EUR242mn (USD292.6mn) contract to Hochtief Infrastructure Austria-led joint venture (JV) for work on U2 and new U5 metro lines; October 2019 - Tender is still underway and major works for engineering, tunneling and track construction have not yet started in spite of ground breaking in October 2018; October 2017 - Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) signed a three-year agreement with Wiener Linien to provide technical assistance for project; September 2017 - Contract awarded to Siemens to provide trains; July 2015 - YF Architects and Franz Architects appointed for designing the line, while first section of fully automated line to be operational in 2023 |
