项目说明：	November 2021 - Construction underway; August 2021 - Port of Townsville has achieved a milestone with the completion of a 2.2km rock wall; December 2020 - Port of Townsville has awarded a contract to Hall Contracting to carry out work on the project; June 2020 - 140,000 tonnes of rock has arrived at port for the project; March 2020 - Construction contract awarded to Hall Contracting for the construction of a rock wall; February 2018 - EIS has been approved by Federal Government; Project includes dredging of 11.48mn m3 of sediment to widen and deepen the sea and patypus channels and an expanded harbour basin, establishing a 152 ha reclamation area, construction of 4km of rock revetments and potentially a new 700m western breakwater and the construction of six new berths; Project is part of AUD1.6bn (USD1.25bn) 30-year development plan that would expand the Port of Townsville into a globally competitive port; Project cost - AUD232mn
