| 项目说明： | August 2021 - Vizhinjam seaport project disbursed INR941.4mn (USD13mn) as compensation to those who have lost their livelihood; August 2020 - The first phase of the Vizhinjam deep water seaport project is heading for completion; May 2020 - Construction has been suspended due to COVID-19 on Phase I; February 2019 - Phase I will be commissioned by October 2020; December 2015 - Construction commenced on Phase I; June 2015 - Adani won contract for building port superstructure and operating port for a period of 40 years including four years of construction; Project is being built in 4 phases, Phase I (capacity of 1mn TEU) consists of 800m container terminal, 300m cruise cum multipurpose terminal, 500m navy berth, 120m coast guard berth, 100m port craft berth and 500m fish landing berth, Phase II involves additional 400m container terminal while Phase III involves additional 800m container terminal, additional 200m cruise cum multipurpose terminal and a 250m liquid terminal; Project will have capacity to handle 3mn TEU and is designed to handle ships with a capacity of up to 18000 TEU; PPP model - DBFOT |
