| 摘要： | This project will deliver a system to predict potential areas for potholes to develop over the course of the upcoming winter. Using the system, each year, district pavement and maintenance personnel can compile a list of likely pavement areas for further scrutiny and possible maintenance remedies to prevent potholes from occurring. This proactive approach to potholes will allow the agency to increase mobility, reduce congestion, improve pavement quality, thus decreasing pavement life‐cycle costs, increase road safety, garner cost savings, improve maintenance scheduling, resulting in time savings to the agency. |
