项目说明：	January 2022 - Nine bidders has submitted the proposals while Galfar Engineering and Contracting SAOG has submitted the lowest bid for phase I; July 2021 - Oman's Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones has opened tender for consultancy services of the project; June 2021 - Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones has opened a tender for the construction of Phase 1; December 2020 - Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones has awarded a contract to Federici Stirling Batco-Oman for the construction of the road; July 2019 - Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) to provide a loan of OMR38mn (USD98mn) to finance second part of the project; Work includes construction of a 15.27 km three lane dual carriageways with signalised intersections, one roundabout and three bridges, tender also covers construction of link roads of around 5 km for connections with future planning as well as to Duqm Refinery, among other works, bids are due by August 3, 2021; Project cost - OMR45mn
