Policy Forums

项目名称：	Policy Forums
摘要：	The format for the forums is a 1-2 hour session that starts with short presentations from 3 to 4 panelists, followed by a moderated discussion open to the audience. Each panel will include researchers, policy makers, and practitioners chosen for their particular expertise and perspective on the topic. The forums will be held in-person in a location convenient to the targeted participants, but they will also video and/or audio recorded and archived online, allowing for distribution nationwide. Research briefs (2 pages) will be developed for each forum, distributed to forum participants and posted online with the forum recording. Specific topics, dates, and locations for the policy forums will be determined in consultation with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). The project expects to hold the first of these forums in the fall of 2014, focusing on one of more of the white papers prepared in Task 1 of the Agreement.
