Low-Powered Wired Sensors for Asset Management or Health Monitoring of Structure and Pavements
项目名称: Low-Powered Wired Sensors for Asset Management or Health Monitoring of Structure and Pavements
摘要: The research will focus on the design, development, and validation of a revolutionary suite of wireless, multipurpose sensors developed for the health monitoring of transportation infrastructures. The sensors will be designed to be rugged, easy to install, maintenance-free, low-cost, and have a service life exceeding 30 years. The multimodal nature of the sensing system will allow the simultaneous measurement of miscellaneous quantities (such as strain, acceleration, tilt, temperature, and humidity) with sensitivity and accuracy comparable to state-of-the-art wired sensors.
