| 摘要： | Federal and state laws protect historically significant bridges. However, the original railing is not likely to meet current AASHTO requirements. The objective of this study is to develop a toolbox of design/rehabilitation alternatives that may be used to address existing rails on historic bridges. This research will develop solutions to provide a safe and efficient railing for these historic bridges as well as alternative, economic solutions for the design of bridge deck overhang on both historic and new bridges. |
