| 摘要： | Preliminary emission testing of a Thilert Centurion 1.7 Aircraft Diesel Engine using jet fuel was conducted in the Mal Harned Propulsion Laboratory of the Department of Aerospace Engineering of the University of Kansas. The data analysis is in progress and the second round of emission testing is scheduled for February In the original proposal, some equipment funding was allocated for the purchase of a Delta-Hawk Aircraft Diesel Engine. The purpose was to run it not only on jet fuel, but also on standard diesel fuel and bio-diesel and compare the emission products and performance of the engine using those fuels. Per Delta-Hawk, some technical improvements to the engine has delayed the delivery and plans to purchase it may not materialize at this point. |
