This research project includes the following tasks: (1) characterization of response to different restraint environments and development of injury criteria using a standardized sled; (2) development of lower limb response corridors and an advanced foot/ankle finite element model; (3) review of thoracic response data and dummy upgraded assessments; experimental characterization of the pediatric spine and thorax; and (4) continued validation and updating of the THOR-NT finite element model. |
