摘要：	Frozen debris lobes are landslides in permafrost. The objective of this study is to measure and observe the impact of a frozen debris lobe on an abandoned highway embankment section. The study will: (1) measure the deformation of the old Dalton Highway embankment and subsurface; (2) measure earth pressure during the collision of the frozen debris lobe with the embankment; (3) measure soil strength properties of existing embankment and subsurface soils; and (4) document the collision through geomechanical instrumentation, repeat LiDAR scans, and repeat photography. Tasks will require field and laboratory testing programs.
