Improving Immersive, Highly Realistic in-Lab, Cycling Experiences for Analyzing Active Travel
项目名称: Improving Immersive, Highly Realistic in-Lab, Cycling Experiences for Analyzing Active Travel
摘要: In transportation, virtual-reality (VR) technology has been increasingly used for understanding participants’ naturalistic responses in experimental research focusing on driving. Nevertheless, it is known that the most common complaints from participants of immersive VR experiences are nausea and dizziness. This phenomenon is referred to as visually-induced motion sickness (VIMS). The objective of this current project is to improve the technological implementation of immersive, highly realistic in-lab cycling experiments by reducing the effects of VIMS.
