Improving Multimodal Traffic Safety for Multi-Lane Arterials
项目名称: Improving Multimodal Traffic Safety for Multi-Lane Arterials
摘要: There are three main objectives to be fulfilled as discussed above. Basically, the research will achieve the following: Identifying factors affecting speeding related crashes and non-motorized crashes based on multi-source Big Data; Improving non-motorized safety for multi-lane arterials by incorporating accurate exposure measurements from high-resolution data; Evaluating and identifying effective countermeasures to manage speed on multi-lane arterials mainly using the FDM’s speed management strategies (e.g., SR-436: Semoran Blvd).
