In this study, E-waste plastic is used as aggregate replacement to modify the properties of Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) mix. This study utilized two Sizes for replacement of E-waste plastic into DBM mix. In this, 20 mm&2.36mm aggregates are replaced using 20mm&2.36mm size of E-waste plastic. Marshall test are carried out to find the optimum percentage of Bitumen and by Considering this optimum bitumen the optimum percentage of plastic replacement is calculated. Comparative study of Marshall test results indicated an improvement in strength of the mix for E-waste modified mixes. |
