| 摘要： | Sustainable development is a holistic practice that includes efforts to mitigate negative effects on every part of the road infrastructure and transportation system which are generally ignored in traditional transportation system planning. Sustainable transportation system must consider the interconnection with the social, economy and environment. Feeder system is an important component of an Integrated Transport System. In absence of proper feeder system, commuters choose their own different modes to access the public transport system which lead to traffic problems and other related ill effects in the influence areas. Feeder system has been deployed in very primitive/limited way for only some of the metro stations in Delhi, which includes Feeder Bus (Minibus) operation in the catchment areas of Metro stations. This study proposes to assess individual metro accessibility performance across user groups by applying multi-dimensional indicators. A feeder sustainability index (FSI) for feeder system was developed in this study based on a participatory and a sustainability approach. Effort has been made to evaluate Feeder Sustainability Index for feeder system at various metro stations to investigate and compare the accessibility performance across groups by using multi-dimensional criteria. |
