摘要: Results and conclusions are presented from laboratory one-dimensional primary and secondary compression tests on specimens of artificial soils composed of multioriented geosynthetic elements. The purpose of the tests was to determine the influence of the parameters on the one-dimensional compression characteristics of artificial soils composed of the following elements: properties of the polymeric constituent material and size and geometric shape of the elements. Values of one-dimensional primary and secondary compression parameters for these artificial soils are also compared with those for natural soils.
