| 摘要： | Development and adoption of new airport pavement design methods and procedures will depend in large measure on understanding how to transfer design procedures to the airport pavement design and construction industry. Technology transfer activities and programs have been implemented successfully in a variety of fields to move ideas and technology from the research lab to end users for direct application or further refinement. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Center of Excellence (COE) for Airport Pavement Research recognizes that technology transfer will be crucial to fulfilling its mission of developing and promulgating new airport pavement design methods and procedures. To this end, a survey of a cross-section of experienced technology transfer agencies from the public and private sectors has been conducted. The overall purpose for conducting the survey was to learn the most effective characteristics and attributes of technology transfer programs in order to develop a program for the FAA COE for Airport Pavement Research. |
