摘要: The purpose of Work Order No. 96-09-21 is to conduct Thermogravimetric Analysis and either ASTMC 114 total lime content and/or the anhydrous ethylene glycol total lime content determinations. The hydration and dissolution of calcium oxide to form calcium hydroxide subsequently precipitates as calcium carbonate (tufa) on contact with the air. This is a serious consideration for steel slag used as fill and potential drainage problems.
