摘要：	Government officials comprise one group of customers the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) serves. The FDOT developed a mail survey instrument to ascertain the level of satisfaction of government officials in the following areas: (1) cooperation with government officials; (2) allocation of transportation resources in the community; (3) experiences in State Highway System construction zones; (4) travel on the State Highway System within the community; and (5) overall satisfaction with various aspects of the State Highway System. The Florida State University Survey Research Laboratory undertook a survey of government officials identified by the FDOT through professional association lists. Florida government officials surveyed included: city mayors and administrators; county commissioners and administrators; sheriffs and police departments; Emergency Medical Services units; fire and rescue departments; and legislators. Of 2,000 government officials contacted, 40% (794) responded to the customer satisfaction survey. This report summarizes the results of the mail survey.
