| 摘要： | As the gap widens between the cost of providing transit services and available resources, several transit agencies and local governments within and outside Florida have implemented or are considering the implementation of innovative transit financing (ITF) strategies to supplement traditional sources of transit revenue. The main objectives of this study are: to ascertain what types of ITS exist in Florida and provide an inventory of existing ITF strategies in Florida; second, to conduct an assessment of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and constraints to innovative transit financing in Florida. There is a compelling need for an in-depth evaluation of the relative effectiveness of the various innovative transit financing strategies that have been implemented in Florida. |
