| 摘要： | This report presents guidelines on the design of changeable message sign (CMS) messages for use in freeway corridors for incident management and route diversion. It is a companion to Report No. FHWA/TX-92/1234-9, which is a primer on the characteristics that affect the design, use and operation of CMSs, and which provides guidelines on the selection of the appropriate type of CMS displays.
