| 摘要： | An automatic vehicle location (AVL) system is being studied to determine its impact on paratransit service in Houston, Texas. The AVL system is a subscriber-based radio location system that employs a network of 24 radio towers to track the location of paratransit vehicles. The objective of this intelligent transportation system application is to improve the prescheduled, curb-to-curb transportation services for Houston's physically and mentally disabled persons. |
