| 摘要： | The purpose of this paper is to review the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's statewide traffic forecasting function. Traffic forecasting's role in the structure of the organization and its impact on policy issues are covered first. Next, the various techniques that are used are reviewed with emphasis on the traffic modeling tools. Finally, there is discussion of possible future directions in both the policy and technical spheres. |
