摘要: Arriva Midlands is selling its loss-making Cannock operation to D&G Bus - part of the Centrebus group - from 10 January. D&G, which already has depots in Adderley Green and Crewe, will retain Arriva's Delta Way, Cannock site for a period. All staff transfer under the TUPE rules that maintain employment terms and conditions with a change of ownership. It will retain all 29 routes and is acquiring 42 of the 60 vehicles. Eighteen other vehicles are being resourced partly from its existing fleet and partly from purchases which include ex-Tower Transit Wright StreetLites bought from the Ensign dealership. D&G, which already has a red livery in the tradition of Midland Red, will brand the network as Chaserider, reviving one of the four names that Midland Red North adopted in National Bus Company ownership in the 1980s as it introduced local identities. The 29 routes, serving Cannock and Stafford, include those operated from Stafford depot before Arriva closed it in August 2016. Three connect Cannock with Walsall, one with Wolverhampton.
