| 摘要： | Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and telematics will radically alter the way we think about and use transportation. This paper looks at the opportunities and challenges this presents the Police, concentrating on the partnership approach adopted by the UK Police. It is shown that ITS and telematics raise issues in reducing crime and the fear of crime, combating organized crime and terrorism, maintenance of public order and increased policing efficiencies in addition to road safety and enforcement of road traffic laws. |
