In this paper, we pose and describe the experimental implementation of a multiple-processor "cooperative adaptive cruise control" (CACC) problem that leverages current adaptive cruise control (ACC) technologies and emerging vehicle-vehicle cooperative technologies. The paper also briefly describes a collateral CACC aim, which is to provide an experimental platform for an enhanced engineering process to incorporate a concept-to-code integrated development environment for multiple embedded processors. |
