摘要：	The purpose of this Integration Strategy for Central Ohio [Columbus Ohio, region] is three-fold. First, it has been developed as a guide to enable local jurisdictions to plan future projects to integrate with existing and other planned projects belonging to neighboring jurisdictions. This Integration Strategy serves as the first step toward conformity with the National ITS Architecture by providing a resource by which implementing agencies can see how their systems could integrate with other ITS elements in central Ohio. Second, this Integration Strategy has been planned to provide a vehicle for the vital, yet currently lacking, interagency and inter-jurisdictional communications. And third, this Integration Strategy provides a means for local agencies to convey to policy leaders the benefits of ITS and help encourage support for the implementation of more ITS projects.
