| 摘要： | Unambiguous information interchange is an absolute requirement for ITS systems. The increasing integration of ITS applications highlights this issue: there is a need for application systems to talk to each other, and user devices need to receive information from multiple applications and providers. The IEEE Committee on Data Dictionary and Message Set Template (DD & MST) has been working on two related standards: Standard for Data Dictionaries for Intelligent Transportation Systems (P1489) and Standard for Message Set Template for Intelligent Transportation Systems (P1488) to assist in this information exchange. These standards are intended to provide a common way to document and manage data elements and messages. Using the data dictionary standard, for example, will result in functional area data dictionaries such as Advanced Traveler Information Systems (ATIS) developing sets of data elements which can be re-used by other functional data dictionaries and consequently by application developers, Rather than each application developer creating an individual set of data elements which may or may not be exchangeable with any other system, it will be possible for developers to choose from a standardized list in a common, machine processable format. This paper will detail the work of the committee and describe the process used to develop these standards. |
