| 摘要： | The Smart Trek Metropolitan Model Deployment Initiative (MMDI) purpose and goals are to improve multimodal transportation infrastructure services, and system usage for the region's travelers. Smart Trek enhances and expands upon the local infrastructure to link together more regional agencies and users for sharing of information. As part of Smart Trek, multimodal transportation, traffic, and transit data sources are made more robust and data sources are added to existing systems. The Smart Trek project adds or enhances over a dozen PUB Published by: lic and private traveler information applications to reach every type of traveler. The Smart Trek deployment is not expected to be the extent of deployment in the area; it is a market catalyst so that Information Service Providers (ISPs) and system developers have a baseline from which to demonstrate the benefits of multimodal transportation information to customers. |
