| 摘要： | Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) (formerly Intelligent Vehicle Highway Systems (IVHS)), is the application of advanced information processing, communications, vehicle sensing, and central monitoring and control technologies to surface transportation. The objective of ITS is to promote more efficient use of the existing highway and transportation network, increase safety and mobility, and decrease the environmental costs of travel. The Maricopa County ITS Strategic Plan is an effort undertaken by the Maricopa County Department of Transportation and a coalition of private and public agencies, to develop a plan for deploying ITS technologies. The vision for this project is to identify innovative ITS technologies for deployment in Maricopa County to satisfy regional transportation needs. |
