摘要: An engineering firm specialising in common rail diesel fuel systems has invested £120,000 in new technology to repair smart injectors. Extract Engineering, in Carlisle, has added Hartridge equipment to its current diesel injector testing and repair services and pump testing for modern engines. The investment means the Kingstown Industrial Estate-based company becomes one of only 12 authorised Delphi Commercial Test and Repair Centres in the UK. Asa result of adding the sophisticated equipment, Extract Engineering can now test and repair all Euro Ⅴ, EUI and EUP smart injectors. These are used in a number of commercial vehicles, including DAF, Volvo and Mercedes. The company can also test Euro Ⅵ injectors.
