In its financial stability plan, Transport for London confirms that it wants to have an entirely zero-emission fleet by 2030, but recognises that the contracting cycle and age of existing vehicles would create significant peaks and troughs in deliveries if it tied their introduction to the start dates of contracts in the route tendering programme. |
