| 摘要： | Delays in repainting one of the vehicles have led the West Riding Omnibus Preservation Society to delay the relaunch of its two surviving Guy Wulfrunians by three months. It had hoped to have Roe-bodied West Riding 970 (WHL 970) and 995 (UCX 275) back in action at its Summer Spectacular in Dewsbury and Batley on August 8. The Spectacular is still happening, but the painting work on green-liveried 995 is taking longer than originally expected and the reunion of these unusual front-engined double-deckers will now take place at Dewsbury Bus Museum on November 14. The magnitude of the restoration work on red-liveried 970 is apparent from former owner Basil Hancock's picture of it in 1982 when he acquired it from Crouch End Coaches in London, still in the colours of McLennan of Spittalfield. |
