| 摘要： | The purpose of the Advanced Transportation Weather Information System (ATWIS) was to provide en-route weather forecasts and road condition information to the traveling public across North Dakota and South Dakota. The ATWIS began development on June 30, 1995 at the University of North Dakota's Regional Weather Information Center (RWIC).
