摘要: THE AIM OF THE RESEARCH IS TO DETERMINE THE ACTIONS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE STATIC AND FATIGUE DESIGN OF HIGHWAY BRIDGES. WITH THE HELP OF THE RESULTS OF LCPC MEASUREMENTS ON THE CARONTE HIGHWAY BRIDGE MADE WITH THE FINANCIAL HELP OF THE CECA, IT WAS POSSIBLE TO DETERMINE A LOADING CURVE AND LOADING DIAGRAMS CALLED: CONVOYS. THESE CONVOYS WERE THEN TESTED BY SIMULATING THE INFLUENCE LINES OFTEN FOUND IN BRIDGES. THE TRAFFIC STUDIED WAS EVENTUALLY REPRESENTED BY A CONVOY FACILITATING THE CALCULATION OF THE EXTENT OF THE STRESS RESULTING IN THE GREATEST FATIGUE DAMAGE. USING THE MINER RULE OF CUMULATIVE DAMAGE, IT WAS POSSIBLE TO DETERMINE THE NUMBER OF CONSTANT AMPLITUDE CYCLES TO BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT.
