IN ORDER TO REDUCE THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION AND POLLUTANT EMISSION BY PRIVATE VEHICLES AND DELIVERY VANS, VARIOUS HYBRID SYSTEMS HAVE BEEN PROPOSED. THE AIM OF THIS RESEARCH IS TO CONDUCT A CRITICAL STUDY OF THE SYSTEMS PROPOSED: (1) THERMAL-PNEUMATIC; (2) THERMAL-INERTIA WHEEL; (3) THERMAL-ELECTRIC BATTERY; (4) THERMAL-ELECTRIC-INERTIA WHEEL. THE STUDY WILL DEAL PARTICULARLY WITH THE OUTPUT OF EACH COMPONENT CHOSEN FOR TRACTION FOR THE TWO TYPES OF VEHICLE CONSIDERED. THE RESEARCH WILL BE BASED ON LITERATURE PUBLISHED IN FRANCE AND OTHER COUNTRIES. THE RESULTS OBTAINED SHOULD FACILITATE THE COMPARISON OF THE VARIOUS SOLUTIONS PROPOSED AND THE EVALUATION OF ENERGY BENEFIT OR LOSS CAUSED BY THE ADOPTION OF A HYBRID SYSTEM COMPARED TO THAT OF THE THERMAL ENGINE. |
