摘要: THE OBJECT IS TO OBTAIN A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF DELAYED BRITTLE CRACKING IN LOADED PRESTRESSING STEELS BEFORE INJECTION. PLAN OF WORK: PERMEATION TESTS TO DETERMINE HYDROGEN ABSORPTION, AND TESTS TO DETERMINE SENSITIVITY TO DELAYED BRITTLE CRACKING. BOTH SERIES OF TESTS ARE TO BE CARRIED OUT IN AS NEAR PRACTICAL CONDITIONS AS POSSIBLE.
