| 摘要： | This study analysed and evaluated the implications of different funding strategies associated with the case of a hypothetical two-berth port container terminal development in sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). The results of the study illustrated a range of financial investment appraisal results from the case study concession in consideration of four specific funding strategies. For each strategy, the research objectives; i.e. determining a valuation of the concession and identifying the most advantageous funding strategy applicable to the said concession, were achieved. In addition, other financial investment appraisal indicators such as the Internal Rate of Return and the discounted payback periods were provided to gauge the attractiveness of the concession to potential investors interested in an SSA port terminal concession. |
