| 摘要： | This proposal outlines a series of second-year research activities in the development of the Northeast Megaregion Multi-modal Transportation Planning and Investment Model, a TransCAD-based set of analytical procedures for comparing alternative transportation investments across and between modes; and for exploring how those investments are likely to influence subsequent development patterns and economic activity levels. These procedures are being developed using the Northeast Megaregion as a testbed. The Northeast Megaregion extends continuously from southern Maine to Central Virginia along the I-95 corridor and includes 13 states, more than 50 million residents, and more than a dozen separate Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs). |
